Networking is a major benefit of ENC 2012. The networking opportunities enable delegates to meet and network. The ENC 2012 Social Programme extends networking opportunities beyond the opening hours providing everyone with social interaction and an invaluable opportunity to meet additional people you may have otherwise missed.
ENC 2012 Welcome Reception
On the eve of ENC 2012 all delegates are invited to a Welcome Reception. This appreciated opportunity for a first get-together will be organised together with an ENC 2012 pre-registration facility.
The ENC 2012 Welcome Drink will take place on Sunday 09 December from 18.30 – 19.30 at the Manchester Town Hall. Manchester Town Hall is one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. Situated on Albert Square, the Town Hall was opened in 1877. This Grade 1 listed building, which radiates the history of the city, is definitely one of the hidden jewels in Manchester's crown. Join us to enjoy an evening in this historic, remarkable and spectacular place!
During the Welcome Drink ENS – Young Generation Network will announce the winner of the Jan Runermark Award foreseen for a person who has given outstanding service to the benefit of the young generation.
The Welcome Reception will be preceded by a Pre-registration which ensures a smooth registration prior to the conference. The Pre-Registration will be open from 16.00 – 19.30.
The ENC 2012 Welcome Reception is included in the ENC 2012 registration fee for delegates and will be organised back-to-back with the ENC 2012 Career Event.
ENC 2012 Conference Dinner
The ENC 2012 Conference Dinner will take place on Monday 10 December 2012 in one of the most significant Manchester ’s buildings – the Manchester Cathedral, which was built in 1421 by Henry V. Alongside the original College buildings that now house Chetham's Library and part of Chetham's School of Music, it forms Manchester's medieval quarter. This great architectural and historic landmarks in the heart of the city offers some of the most impressive and breathtaking spaces and will provide a unique venue for the ENC Conference Dinner.
