Milan is

Conference Venue
The Palazzo delle Stelline
is an international convention centre in the heart of
Milan. The building is a renovated 16th Century monastery
that has been transformed into a purpose-built location
for exhibitions, conferences and cultural events. While
offering all the facilities you would expect from a
modern convention centre, the Palazzo delle Stelline
has retained much of the monastery’s original
charm, as witnessed by the cloisters and attractive
gardens.
The Centro Congressi Palazzo Stelline
is located on Corso Magenta 61, not far from Metro Stations
Conciliazione (M1 – red line), Cardona (M1 –
red line, M2 green line, railway station), S. Ambrogio
(M2 – green line).

Access
The three main airports of
Milan are well connected with the city center:
Malpensa
Malpensa International Airport, located about 45 km
north-west of Milan, is connected to Cardona Railway
Station in Milan via the ‘Malpensa Express’
service (www.ferrovienord.it).
Running time is 40 minutes. A one-way ticket costs 11Euros.
There are also frequent bus services to and from Milan’s
Central Railway Station (www.autostradale.com
or www.airpullman.com).
Running time is around 50 minutes. A one-way ticket
costs around 6 Euro.
Linate
Linate Airport is located around 12 km east of Milan
and is connected to Milan by the bus line N° 73,
which runs every ten minutes. Running time is around
20 minutes. Tickets are sold on board.
The two main bus companies

or www.airpullman.com).

Orio Al Serio
This airport, which is located close to the city of
Bergamo, is connected to Milan by several bus services

to Milan Central station takes around 60 minutes and
costs around 6 Euros one-way.

Getting about in Milan
The easiest way to move around in Milan is via the three
subway lines (M1-red, M2-green, M3-yellow). subway.umka.org/map-milan.html
The local transportation authority also runs
an extensive tramway system and more than 90 bus lines
(www.atm-mi.it).
One-trip tickets, valid for 75 minutes,
are on sale at all underground stations, newspaper-stands
and tobacco shops.
