Disaster control plans for the environment of nuclear
power plants and large nuclear facilities also comprise plans for the
evacuation of the population in the case of catastrophic accidents in
the plant pursuant to the general recommendations for disaster control
in the environment of nuclear facilities. However, the measures for
evacuation constitute only the extreme borderline case in a large number
of protective measures provided in disaster control plans.
