Conference Venue - Vienna International Centre
In 2009, RRFM will be hosted by the IAEA. It will
take at the Vienna International Centre (VIC), the
conference center it is sharing with several international
bodies, including the United Nations.

Access
The Vienna International Centre (VIC) is located
next to U1 metro (red) line, metro station: Kaisermühlen.
Also marked on the city maps as the “Vienna
International Centre” or “UNO City”,
the VIC is located on the banks of the Danube river.

You will find signs in the Kaisermühlen metro
station for the VIC. Please note: you will also find
signs for the “Austria Centre” (Vienna’s
biggest exhibition and congress hall). This is a
different building and NOT the Vienna International
Centre.
The VIC is easily accessible by public transport,
both from the airport and from any part of the city.

Security measures
On each day of conference, the access to the VIC
will be subject to an individual identity and baggage
security check. Please allow sufficient time so as
not to be late for the sessions.
