LUCOEX scholarships to aid research into final disposal of radioactive wasteLUCOEX is a project supported by Euratom’s 7th Framework Programme (FP7). It groups together four large-scale demonstration projects, each one representing a European concept for the final disposal of high-level long-lived radioactive nuclear waste.
Up until 2014, LOCOEX will make available a number of scholarships in order to promote training in this field and to dissemination Europe-wide the research data resulting from the projects. Commitment to this important field of research is expressed in the form of these scholarships, for which the funding provided covers travel, lodging and a daily allowance. The LUCOEX project will provide a total of 20 scholarships for students, post-doctoral students and engineers in the EU Member States and in Switzerland. The LUCOEX project also needs to distribute information about the scholarships as widely as possible within the EU and Switzerland, and the following flyer should be distributed whenever convenient.
