Barbadinhos Steam Pump Station

The ETRAP 2009 Conference Dinner will take place at the Barbadinhos Steam Pump Station of the Lisbon Water Museum. The beauty and well-preserved condition of the steam machines and the pumps make them one of the main assets of the Museum. The pumping station is also particularly interesting from a technological point of view: built in 1880, it used four steam machines and five boilers to increase the volume of the water distributed in Lisbon.

All social events are included in the registration fee.

Accompanying persons are welcome to attend the Conference Dinner at an additional cost.
