Ballroom

Welcome Reception

Come and meet your fellow delegates at the Welcome Cocktail on Sunday 14th February from 18.00-19.30, organised at the Ballroom Foyer of the Budapest Hilton Hotel. A pre-registration facility will allow quick access to the conference on Monday morning.

GALA Dinner

The PAKS Nuclear Power Plant will invite PIME delegates to a Hungarian Gastro-Historical Show where a sequence of reenactments will give some insight into the most splendid eras of Hungarian history. Each era is represented by a dance scene, during which waiters and waitresses dressed in period costumes serve the typical courses and beverages of the age to the sounds of contemporary music. At the same time, a prerecorded – and therefore invisible – narrator recounts some of the most important events of the era.

The event will take place in the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts.  A building designed and constructed by Albert Schickendanz and Fülöp Herzog which opened in 1906.

Delegates will enjoy an unforgettable Hungarian Gala Evening with sophisticated  Hungarian hospitality, entertainment and cuisine.

The Pime 2010 Gala Dinner is sponsored by PAKS Nuclear Power Plant

Accompanying people are welcome to attend the Gala Dinner.
All PIME social events are included in the registration fee.
