PIME offers a unique opportunity for delegates to network with their fellow professionals, present their communications activities on the conference cat walk, share their experiences and find new inspiration. Once again the Communications Showcase provides the perfect platform to do this, with extra space available for delegates during the conference to exhibit their latest campaigns in a variety of ways, including posters, DVDs, printed materials, etc.
The PIME 2014 Showcase will focus on initiatives aimed at raising the level of public understanding of nuclear science, engineering & technology.
In particular the PIME 2014 Showcase will give centre stage to ideas that explain nuclear technology to young people in schools and at universities.
A whole range of creative initiatives were developed by NPP's, ENS Young Generation Network, Nuclear National Societies and companies over the last years to explain nuclear issues to the public and possibly attract young people to a career in nuclear. The PIME 2014 Showcase will be an occasion to learn about and get inspired by these initiatives.
