                      PIME 2016 Conference Dinner
The PIME 2016 Conference Dinner will take place on Monday 15 February in the The House of the Free Press (Casa Presei Libere), formerly called Casa Scânteii. Casa Presei Libere is one of the landmarks of Bucharest reminiscent of the communist regime. Built during the regime (between 1952 and 1957), the building is a typical representative of Social Realism. It was intended to house all of Bucharest’s printing press, the newsrooms and their staff; being, thus, by design, an institution completely subject to the communist authorities. In reaction to this juncture, subsequently to the 1989 Revolution, the name of the building was changed into the House of the Free Press.

The Pime 2016 Conference Dinner is sponsored by Nuclearelectrica.
