Venue
Dubrovnik – the city of a unique political and cultural
history is one of the most attractive and famous cities of the
Mediterranean. Its characteristic shape is defined by its intact
medieval city walls which run uninterrupted for 1940 meters encircling
the city. This complex structure with five fortresses is one of
the most beautiful and strongest fort systems in Europe. Inside
those city walls, narrow streets, small squares and a rich cultural
and historical heritage provide visitors enough opportunities to
experience the millennial beauty of this historic city centre which
has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
The coastal belt of Dubrovnik offers a wealth
of contrast with many bays, beaches, steep cliffs and densely wooded
islands. Nature lovers can discover a true Mediterranean landscape,
making Dubrovnik and its surroundings one of the most prominent
tourist destinations on the Adriatic.
Conference Venue
Apart from its outstanding
natural beauties and well-preserved cultural and historical
heritage, Dubrovnik has recently also gained its reputation
as a high-quality conference venue. The TopSafe 2008
Conference will take place at the multifunctional conference
centre
of the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel. Its ‘Mare’ Conference
Hall is one of the largest in Dubrovnik, providing premium
technical support and services.
