Networking is a major benefit of the RRFM conference. The social events help connect the conference delegates and are included in the registration fee.
Welcome Drink
Get in touch before the conference starts at the RRFM/IGORR 2012 Welcome Drink. The Welcome Drink will take place from 18.00 – 19.00 on Sunday 18 March in the conference hotel, the Diplomat Hotel Prague.
It will be preceded by a Pre-registration which ensures a smooth registration prior to the conference.
RRFM/IGORR 2012 Dinner
The RRFM/IGORR 2012 Conference Dinner will take place on Tuesday 20 March 2012, at the Velká Klášterní Restaurace.
The history of Velká Klášterní Restaurace (the Monastery Restaurant) is linked to the history of the Starhov order of Premonstratens. The monastery at Strahov was established in 1140 by Bishop of Olomouc with assistance from the Czech Duke and subsequently Czech King Vladislav II. The complex hosts the Church of the Assumption of Our Lady, the Strahov Picture Gallery, and the priceless Strahov Library. The extensive complex is located near Prague castle at the beginning of the Royal Way, and its renovated medieval restaurant is a pleasant social venue for visitors.
Participants of the RRFM/IGORR 2012 will be welcomed at the conference venue by the waiting staff dressed in stylish period costume. They will taste the traditional Bohemian specialties prepared according to age-old recipes and enjoy a programme of brass band, folk, and cimbalom music with demonstrations of traditional Bohemian and Moravian dancing in period costumes.
