PIME 2008 - Defining tomorrow's vision of nuclear energy

Venue

Prague, ‘the golden city’, has been the political, cultural, and economic center of the Czech state for over 1100 years. It is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and belongs to one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations.

Centuries of construction gave rise to of the world’s most pristine and varied collections of architecture, from Art Nouveau to Baroque, Renaissance, Cubist, Gothic, Neo-Classical and Ultra-modern. Those architectural styles mingle and intertwine here and their symbiosis creates the city’s unique atmosphere. The historic center was included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1992. Some of its outstanding sights are: Old Town with its Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock, the picturesque Charles Bridge and Prague Castle.

Conference Venue

The Prague Marriott hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, just a few steps away from the Old Town Square and Prague’s major tourist attractions.

The PIME 2008 Conference venue will be located on the first floor. A Business centre will provide participants all extra help needed; high speed internet access is available in all conference rooms and public areas.
