Programme
The key event for the Research Reactor
Community!
NEW! In response to
the high demand for this conference and the number of high quality
abstracts received the Programme of RRFM 2007 / IGORR has been
extended to three days. Following the success
of RRFM 2006, a specialised session on ‘Innovative Methods
in Research Reactor Analysis’ figures again on the programme.
The joint RRFM/IGORR meeting
will offer a platform for the exchange of information on all key
areas of the nuclear fuel cycle of research reactors. Dedicated
sessions will look at the design and construction of new research
reactors and upgrades of existing ones.
The programme will offer sessions with the following
main topics:
-
Session 1: International Topics of interest to the entire
Research Reactor Community
-
Session 2: New Research Reactor Facilities and Upgrades
-
Session 3: Fuel Development, Qualification and Fabrication
-
Session 4: Optimisation of Operation and Utilisation of
Research Reactors
-
Session 5: Innovative Methods in Research Reactor Analysis
-
Session 6: Safety, Operation, Conversion
-
Session 7: Spent Fuel Management, Back-end Options and Transportation
The conference is organised so that attendees can attend their
usual specific sessions and sessions of common interest of both
RRFM and IGORR communities.
