  1. Lithuanian Energy Institute (LEI)

LEI together with other five European Technical Safety Organisations - TSOs have created ENSTTI, the European Nuclear Safety Training and Tutoring Institute. The Institute offers training sessions and longer tutoring periods for university graduates and for those with some professional experience in the nuclear sector.

    ENSTTI

LEI offers in cooperation with the Kaunas University of Technology PhD Programme in the scientific field: Technological Sciences, Energetic and Power Engineering.

There are possibilities of employment for PhD students, possibilities to participate in international projects and internships in foreign research centers, to participate in international conferences during doctoral studies.

  2. Center for Physical Sciences and Technology

CPST is state founded scientific research institute.
The center is the public legal entity, acting as the state budget office, and carrying out the state, society, international cooperation or trade entities important and long-term research and development according to the topics of center statute.

One of the main research areas is Nuclear Physics and Radioecology at the nuclear and Environmental Radioactivity Research Laboratory.
