  1. Basel University

The department “Experimental Particle and Nuclear Physics” in the Institute of Physics of the University Basel posses the research reactor type AGN-211-Pto serve the students of Nuclear Physics the education and advanced training.

  1. Paul Scherrer Institute

PROTEUS is a zero-power research reactor operated at the Paul Scherrer Institute, Switzerland. One of its main characteristics is a high degree of flexibility in studying a wide range of different systems. At present, it is being used to provide an extended integral database for the validation of modern light water reactor fuel designs.

  1. Ecolé Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne

CROCUS is the zero-power (100 W) teaching reactor on the EPFL campus. This nuclear facility offers a unique opportunity for a wide range of students. Thus, while providing a crucial framework for detailed experimentation to students of the recently implemented Master in Nuclear Engineering, it also serves to introduce Physics and Mechanical Engineering undergraduates to the basic principles of the operation of nuclear power plants (NPPs). The CROCUS reactor is placed under the surveillance of the Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate (ENSI).
