ECED 2015

The Slovak Nuclear Society is organizing 2nd International Conference Eastern and Central European Decommissioning – ECED 2015 – on June 23 - 25, 2015, in the historic town of Trnava, Slovakia.

The conference is intended for professionals involved in all stages of decommissioning of nuclear facilities (planning, decontamination, dismantling, pre-disposal waste management, waste disposal) and their impact on the environment. The main objective of the conference is exchange of experience and best practice in decommissioning of nuclear facilities in Central and Eastern Europe. After the successful first ECED in 2013, organizers believe that this conference is to become the most important event in the nuclear decommissioning in Eastern and Central Europe with a significant impact also in other European countries.
